Dr. Gautam Das is a leading Pain Specialist practicing 'Interventional Pain Management' procedures. He did Masters in Anaesthesiology from Calcutta University & stood first. Later he undertook training in interventional pain management from AIIMS, New Delhi; Holyname Hospital, New Jersey; & Lakewood Clinic, Austin. He visited many pain clinics in India & abroad.

He worked jointly with IIT, Kanpur to develop "Pain Assessment Monitor". He is the pioneer of ozone discectomy in Eastern India. Presently he is the secretary of Indian Society for Study of Pain (WB).
